    Do not use pepperjam!!!

We all have horror stories about working with no name developers who take your money and never deliver a finished product. Because of this I decided to go with one of the top firms in the US (so I thought) PepperJam.

Here are the problems I've had
    - Charged me $4000 in November to optimize two domains that their own designers changed before the optimization started. So all the SEO work they did (and charged me for) was wasted on domains that don't exist.

    - This week they hit me with $9000 in bills from November that they 'forget' to mention to me. Things like management fees for PPC (when I did not do PPC that month) and design fees that I never new I had coming.

    - I asked them today to send me a complete list of all fees they charged me and its missing like half of them. They have no idea what bills they sent me. They just keep hitting my credit card like its candy.

Stay away from this firm. They lure you in with all these fancy services and guarantees then they rob you blind. I'm trying to end my contract with them and they still want three more months of money!

I'm going to create a website just to show how bad they are and market the hell out of it!

If anyone on here has had similar experiences with them please let me know.

Wow, that's a lot of moolah. I got my website built for $1500, and Network Solutions is charging me $300/mo for PPC management, which they call an aggressive level of PPC marketing. It sounds like they're just robbing you blind, and draining your card. Cancel the card and dispute the charges, then take those guys to court. I've never heard of Pepper Jam, which is just as well, sounds like you got taken in by a scam.

I'm in the process of changing all my cpanel info so they can not try to hold my sites for payment. I've experienced this a lot with small time companies I'm just surprised that a company that was ranked so highly by INC Magazine and Forbes would turn out to be the biggest crooks of them all...

I was spending $25,000 to $35,000 a month on PPC so their management fee wasn't all that bad. I was happy to pay their fees when they were doing the work. They just don't seem to communicate well between departments. The PPC people don't talk to the SEO people and the design people obviously don't talk to anyone.

I also forgot to add one other shitty thing they did:
    - When they did my PPC Campaign that added non-approved search terms that ate up about 15% of my budget. These terms used competitors names to drive traffic at a PPC of about $14 PC. This was a mess! All people need to do it listen sometimes... when they strike out and do what ever the hell they want they loose customers.

I have $100K budgeted to be spent with them in the 2nd Qtr... you would think they would keep their shit straight based on all the money they would make off me... i yi yi

    Wow that's insane.

Do they have any relationship to the affilate network Pepperjam?

    Quite worrying.

I use pepperjam to place adverts on some of my blogs, so I don't think they can charge me - they don't have sufficient details to do so anyway. Still, I think I'll can using them on new sites until I read a positive update!

I don't think there is any relation to PepperJam and the affiliate programs you all are using.
