Do apparel distributors do fulfillment?

I wanted to know if anyone here knew if brand name apparel distributors ever did fulfillment for orders. Ex: if i sold somthing online, i could email the distributor and he would ship it off to the person who purchased the product.
Obviously the % i make would be lower but before i actually contact a distributbrand and make a fool out of myself i wanted to see if anyone here hade any info on this?

Possible. What you do is go to major brand websites and look on the bottom of the site and see if they have an affiliate program or a reseller program like the famous Mary Kay do.

I will look into this, i know large online stores have affiliate programs, but that is not what i am looking for since the merchandise would ship in a box with their label on it and the % of profit would probably be much less. Whats to stop my customers from going to their store next time...i mean since their products are coming from them.

As for brands. i have not seen any sort of affiliate program on the actual brands website. Most brands just deal with their distributors who in turn stock and send out all the items to stores. I would much prefer a distributor to stock and ship items carried by them and sold by me to buyers. This would benefit me in that i dont carry very much inventory and customers cant go to the distributor and say i will by direct from you.. So does anyone know if this is common among distributors??????
