    Credit Card Processors

I am extremely confused about this one.

i'm thinking of creating an online gadget store and i want to offer customer to pay with their credit cards, but the only ones in GSPAY and 2Checkout, GSPAY requires proven sales of 10,000 for the last 3 months and 2checkout is too expensive.

are there any other credible sources? and can you tell me how they work?

    thanks

To start you are probably better off using Paypal to process credit card purchases. Once your business is established you can switch to your own merchant processing. Call 646-237-2560 if you need a quick education on merchant processing

Use 2checkout until you start doing a lot of sales. It's only $50 to start and there's no monthly fee.

Authorize.net is definitely a trusted brand in the credit card processing realm.

The PayPal merchant account would be your best bet. WorldPay is also very good.

PayPal is a pretty safe bet. So go for it. To finally decide, just call up the customer service numbers of the companise mentioned and ask away.

Some tips are not realistic. To use Authorize.net you need a merchant account, an incorporated company, accounting services, etc

    Try PayPal

    Credit Card Processors

I truly hope that you pursue your online store, knowing that there are many credit card processing options. Of course, you can opt to use the services of PayPal or other third party processors. Alternatively, you can look to open a merchant account with a provider that offers Authorize.net.

Please note that to obtain a merchant account, you can be a sole proprietor and only need to obtain a Doing Business As (DBA) certificate by registering your business with the local town hall of records. Some states do not even require this and a Federal EIN number may suffice.

As you compare options, consider applicable rates, the reputation of the provider, chargeback policies, customer support, etc. As you weigh proposals, please include those from merchant account companies as their rates are often cheaper than third party processors -- particularly in the long run.

Good luck with your business venture!
