Creating a brand for a material product -
...anyone have any experience with this?

My company assembled a custom product (Real Wood AK Replica) last Fall and had quite a bit of success. We've since been able to resource the major material needed for this product at a better price and drop the costs to the end user about 25% while retaining decent quality, etc.

Anyhow! I've really been looking at creating our own "brand" of sorts, getting some regular brown boxes made up and stamp a logo/brand on the top and ship 'em away.

This would all be done Stateside and in small quantities of 20-30 pcs monthly, so no outsourcing.

Any input? Anyone else have their own brand going for material based products?

I know JerrSun has done a bit of this...it would be great if he could chime in.
