What you believe is good and what the networks believe is good is two different stories. Convincing them to approve a massive number of applications (no doubt for referral commission on the affiliates you sign up) is going to be a tough gig. And if its not that but mainly to monitor that students are signing up for offers legitimately, that's also a different story. It's not impossible but even if you carefully make sure everything is legit and is capable of monitoring every last student that comes in to fill out offers, doesn't mean the traffic they send is necessarily backing out for the advertiser. With this said, traffic can still be bad. It isn't always about fraudulent leads, its also about the quality of leads.

I know many people have made some very profitable GPT (get paid to) sites (site where you can go and sign up for freebies, buy products, or join memberships for products/companies you are interested in and receive money or gifts for doing so). I have been looking into this type of business for a while now but have seen a great decline in companies offering these types of deals for affiliate marketers due to the abundant abuse and fraud associated with them. For this reason I believe having a physical location for something like this would be ideal for both the companies wanting to market their brand more fully and for me ($$$).

Most networks have already gotten rid of incent offers because of the crap quality of leads they provide and typically ones that remain have much lower payout. Very few remain and although you can get offers in this vertical, there aren't that many to go around and the top GPT sites that do make it large don't carry an inventory of more than 50 offers usually (if even). While you definitely can make money doing a GPT site, its going to be tough and in all honesty, no one gives a rats ass about marketing their brand or getting their network out there for these types of sites. Its all about the money and the lead volume and quality you're able to push.

If anyone has any info for me on this go ahead and PM me or leave a message as to what you think or know. Maybe someone else wants to give this a go as well. I am really wanting to get this started as I think it should do really well. Thanks

How long have you been trying your hand at affiliate marketing? And more so on contemplating doing a GPT site?
