Considering a career change. . .

into web consultancy / project management.

By this I mean negotiating with clients about their requirements, what will work for them, what wont and most importantly, why!

Then also project management, including planning, construction and evaluating a whole web project.

Maybe working full time for someone else or finding a reliable development partner.

Like what i do now only more in depth and minus the design and programming!

Anyone know if theres much demand for this out there?

Why sure I think there is always opportunity everywhere for everyone. If you are not into programming and would simply like to provide solutions then why not work with a firm over seas? Get the business and send it over to another firm for outsourcing the work. You can make a commission or a fixed % in amount etc. depending on what you would like. Just remember, it has to be something you are passionate about. Does this work "turn you on" at the mere thought? Can you work late hours without losing interest and feeling bored? In order to succeed, just remember that entrepreneurs that find a niche to cater to with passion and drive are the ones that win. All others try to imitate etc.
