A friend is starting a computer repair business, and will be adding in a retail computer sales component (along with used video games, etc) as he goes along. He has many years of experience on the tech side, and has a good relationship with all of the businesses in the area.

The store will be in a small town. There is only one other company in the area that offers repair services, and he is in charge of the computer repair department. He is not happy with the underhanded methods that they have been implementing, and sick of working hard just to making others money, without seeing anything more than a small paycheck in return.

I am working on setting up a business plan for his business, and may be investing as a silent partner. I'm looking for various resources online to add to a business plan. Anyone here have any recommendations for places to look?

I'm wanting to find some additional options that he will be able to offer customers, be it affiliate sales, etc. Anyone have any suggestions? If any of you currently run this type of business, please PM -- Looking for some firsthand advice!
