    Talking Completely Successful Testing!

Just an announcement, some people asked that I post this when it happened.

We've completed our very successful test phase of our complete, remote (transmission via cost effective satellite) internet broadcasting service! From A to Z the picture quality is phenomenal (Flash) the audio is smooth and our potential clients are signing up!

It feels so liberating to have the "sea trials" out of the way with flying colors and proof that a year and a half of planning and stressing is paying off!

Thanks for all of the support and help from people I've spoken to on here!

Why not make make a page on the website with all the current(or past) live streaming videos?
Make it something like Youtube, but all the videos are live events.
And if you have reached a worldwide audience, you can watch events from around the world.

    Woah, this service has potential.

Thanks! I feel this is the next big step in content consumption.

Rpermana and ske: thanks but we do not offer the service like UStream or YouTube where users broadcast live, we are set up for professional, per-event services where we build a video player site for their website that houses the Flash video player so viewers are automatically aware of it if they visit the clients site at all. Along with that we provide the satellite uplink and onsite encoding + production if needed.

So for instance say Coldplay (great band) wanted to do a private show online JUST for their fan club, we come in, provide the entire production capabilities and our live remote, high quality streaming to the video player on their website! When it is done we just turn it off and move on to the next event.

this would work well with university sports since they aren't widely televised, and alumni usually watch them!

    Wow, Lambo good call!

If you guys want a university rep feel free to contact me and I can help. ..we could have a trial period at Wilfrid Laurier events because at a student it would be easy for me to organize.

    Let me know!

Lambo, We handle about 60% of the services but outsource the CDN and satellite reception since you are talking about 100s of Millions of dollars in infrastructure.

My prior experience is in multi-camera production for sports, concerts and large events along with traditional satellite uplink for news, sports, etc.

We are trying to contact the NCAA and big college sports associations but the problem is a lot of them have their own HD cable channels (Big 10 Network, Pac 12, etc.) so the trick is to get one or two so we can prove this works and looks good.

Anyone know anyone at the NCAA or other college sports organizations I could speak with?
