    company/website names?

I started this website called JobDud.com. Basically it's a job review site, think Yelp but for jobs.

What do you think of the name?

I get the feeling that it may give off too much of a negative conotation.

Other possible names i can use: JobGrades.com or JobGradr.com

    Some feedback would be great.

    Thanks!
    Tommy

When I first read "JobDud.com," the first thought to come to mind was of a bunch of unemployed potheads sit around chatting on the computer about how they can make millions selling their weed.

I might be alone in viewing the name in a negative light. But then again, I might not be. JobGrades sounds MUCH better in light of the purpose of your sight.

I vote JobGrades, I feel that JobGradr might look a bit dated in a few years.

jobview would have been nice since its indicative of what the site is about, but it's been taken.

I think you're onto something with the name you have already. Make it funny. And reward the best, most clever posts with something. That way people will have to
#1: Refer the site to at least 3 people before they can win
#2: Contribute real high-quality job reviews

Reward both the best as well as the worst jobs. Sort of like the best of Craigslist.

Doing that solves quite a few of the issues.

But I like the look/sound of the site. You did a great job

In fact, you could turn this into some sort of "Pay to learn" for management at these places. Once you have enough info, start selling human relations sort of stuff to the corps.

Negative sells. Keep it up. You're onto something strong.

make it a bit longer..if I were the reader I wont be interested in visiting your site. How about adding a word, use keywords for the title of your website.
