    Cold Calling Questions

I have 2 questions regarding cold calling.

    1. Is there any software with which one can manage who they called and the response they received? Also they can schedule follow-ups or appointments through that software as well as reminders?

    2. Where do you get the lists for prospects with name and phone number? Do you just use Yahoo Local and call one by one? Or is there a better software or program out there to use?

Yup there are many in the market, you can also go in for call recording
Either you build the db with time or use data capturing and build the same from the net or you can buy one

I would suggest that you begin with a basic spreadsheet pipeline. Microsoft have tons of free templates and all you have to do is edit and add your clients.

When you start to build up a great pipeline, then there are many good CRM tools out there. As mentioned earlier, Salesforce is one of them.

But keep it simple to start with. All the most successful cold callers and winners of new business keep it simple with a good but basic pipeline
