    Coin-Op Pinball Machines?

So I haven't really done research on this..it's more or less something that popped in my head a little while ago. Why does there seem to be a lack of coin-op pinball machines in bars, laundromats, etc.? Does anyone have experience with coin-op pinball machines? Anyone have one or more in a local bar or other place with foot traffic? How well do they do? I understand that they aren't necessarily "cutting edge", but I've asked around and most everyone I've asked said that they would enjoy playing pinball at a bar. Surely there must be a reason for the lack of them around...

In my home country, we rarely see them too..
The pin-balls are replaced by electronic games instead..

I understand that a majority of coin-op games are of the "video game" variety, but that is exactly my point. There must still be a demand for pinball. Pinball machines weren't even "my time" and I very much enjoy playing them.

There is a floor in a local arcade that is completely dedicated to old games, and there is a couple walls of just pinball machines. I never see them without at least a few people playing them. Most of the time I have to wait to use the ones with the most "toys".
