Me and a friend are about to start a clothing line, t-shirts mainly to start out, just prints, but we have some pretty big endorsements so Im very excited about this project, however, I am looking for a manufacturer, I am afraid to go overseas on this one, atleast at first, One thing I am wondering is what should i expect to pay to have t-shirts printed, is it odd business practice to purchase my own shirts, and ask a company just to do the printing. Also, just out of curiosity what machinery is needed if I was to print my own shirts. NO, i am not looking to do some home made jet printer crap.

Thanks, PM me if you feel we could work together

Ok first off I would not get t shirts manufactured. There is already a ton of blank brands doing this so you dont have to. If you wanted specialty pieces made such as jackets, jeans, or sweaters things of that nature but why get t shirts made when there are at least 20 to choose from that I can think of right off the top of my head.

If anyone is interested email me and I will give you prices for my studio and I can set you up with a good deal.

Finding suppliers online is really really hard... Here's some tips I can give you.

1. 95% of the "suppliers" from alibaba, tradekey, globalsources, etc. are scams.
2. If the price is way too cheap or too good to be true, then it probably is.
3. Finding a cheap chinese supplier online is almost impossible.
4. Use whois.sc to check the website's background (how long has it been up, when will it expire, does the information given on the site matches the record on whois.sc, etc.)
5. Your best bet in finding a cheap supplier is flying to China and see the products, warehouse or company in person.

Hope that helps.

Google twelveounce. They are located in Canada. I own a clothing store and most of my vendors use them. They can make samples, make the product, and distribute your products straight to your customers. I am starting my own in-house clothing line for my store because the margins are a whole lot better if I can sell my own products.

We are a Men's and Women's clothing store here in Tennessee and we are looking for new merchandise to place in our store. We need suits, ties, dresses, formal and non formal ware for all. If anyone has any good information of where to purchase please let me know. Also we have a business for hip hop clothing. I would greatly appreciate any information you can provide me.
