Clothing Inventory System.

How do clothing companys create inventories? Can anyone offer some advice on how I could create an inventory system?

Many use a "matrix" system, which is used with many softgoods companies.

Basically a spreadsheet sort of affair. If you have ever been to a tradeshow or had a salesman call on you, you are familiar with their typical order forms. Their software resembles that same format.

You can find point-of-sale software that handles this quite well, allowing min-max order points to be set by item / size / color, etc. I haven't looked at specific software for just keeping inventory, but I am sure there is some available.

Best place to look is in the ads in the back of trade publications, or by joining trade groups related to your interests.
