Clothing Inventory: How much and of what?

Our most recent venture is a new clothing line which we got involved in. I am doing some numbers right now and trying to design inventory strategies. Here is my questions:

    1) Which color is more popular black or white?

    2) After black and white what would you say is the most popular color?

    3) What size is most common from xs-xxl? Percentages would be best(ie. M is 35% L is 25% etc).

    4) Any idea where I can find statistical data in regards to my above questions?

    Thanks in advance folks!

It depends on who you are selling to. Our store targets people aged 13-25...but we do get a lot of older bikers and tattoo artist in here as well. We sell mostly punk rock type clothing...so our best seller would be black. We sell a lot of black, mostly because we sell to a lot of punk rock, emo, goth kids, bikers and tattoo artist. What you will sell the most of depends on your target market. As far as sizes ago, we sell sm and med the most, lg, xl and xxl....in that order for girls. For guys, med and lg the most, and then sm, xl, and xxl. Again, this depends on your target market. Determine who you are selling to, and you will find your answers.

Our clothing might fit into your store, it is going to be popular with tattoo artists and guys who like that rock edge fashion. For example the first store we have placed our product into carries brands such as salvage, archaic, parasuco, black label, marc ecko, artful dodger, and many more of similar style. It sounds like our stuff would fit pretty well into your inventory as well! thanks for the input very helpful!
