Clothing Industry-An Idea Needing Direction

Basically, I'm eager to work in the world of fashion initially in the UK, I've thought of idea's before with relation to the fashion industry. None of which seemed so appealing in the end. I've had an urge to create a brand/label for a lengthy time but i've always thought how'd do I go about it. So this is where I require help and direction.

My creativity and style i something i believe to be unique and something which will sell to a large audience. But the problem lies with how to start up.

I'm 18, so funding is something which is key, Although most 18 year olds lack in money, i've got bits stored up, but with all respect would be ideal to do this with a bare minimum.

In terms of where to start, what would people suggest?
Online Selling brand, a cheaper easy option to sell and adverstise a brand?
Where to start in terms of what to produce, start with a full range of build a range up?
Things that NEED to be considered, Copyright etc..
Any idea's of who i should be contacting for materials or companies who produce this sort of thing to be branded?
The type of costs its likely to be on average?


This to many will sound very basic and unclear, but to simplify, I want to create a clothing brand to expand within the UK for starters, and need direction of things to consider and routes in which should be taking to create success in terms of a business rather then the style i want to produce.

Would be much appreciated for people who have experience in this sector to get back to me with information.

Hi there. Pleasure to meet you… Well what have you done in the past, in the fashion field. I'm very new to this but have a gut feeling that I will be successful at this. I have many ideas and I'm taking this extremely serious. I am looking for clothes designers or and manufactures to team up with or submit artwork to for mass production.
