    Post Clothing Brand

    Hey,

Iam thinking of starting up a clothing brand aimed at extreme sports. I will be doing t-shirt,hoodies etc all having the brand's name/logo on them but in differnet styles. I plan to get the clothes sold in skate shops across the country but as i don't have the money for that yet i will have to wait.I was wondering what you guys think and if you have any advice for me.

I think you are trying to get into a saturated market that is driven by sponsorships and endorsements of atheletes. My suggestion would be to go work for a company that already does this and get experience. Then save enough capital to strike out on your own. A lot of the companies in skate shops are owned by skaters and atheletes.

i have started a company that sounds very similar to the idea you have described.

message me if you would like to discuss some of my experiences setting up the company or even if you would like to work together on some stuff!

    cheers
    tom.

If your already a mountain board competitor then start there. That might be your entry into the market. As for the money, sell stuff you don't use anymore. Talk to friends and family and try to raise a few bucks.
