    Clothes brand

    hi all

I always wanted to make a brand of clothing. Yet i know nothing about clothing manufacturing. How or where can i learn info about clothes manufacturing ?

I was thinking in hiring a designer to draw my clothes and then sent models to small factorys and then they shipped again to me.

What's the best process and how can i learn about it ?

    Hugs

hi, srmafia, do not worry about the clothes manufacuturing field--all you need to do is find buyers! You can ask the supplier design and make samples according to your needs and buy from them.

I have once worked in an American company and the boss do something like that-I source about 2 million pcs garments for him and he sells well in US.

Any further information you need, you can send me an email.

    Thanks.

I don't know if i can get more money selling cheap, intermediate or luxury clothes...how can i decide ? how can i predict the market ? how can i see if it has been selling more luxury or cheap or intermediate clothing ?

I wear intermediate price clothing, but i think that doesnt matters because it doesnt mean that it's what market wants. It can be overloaded with intermediate or cheap clothes...

    hello all
i dont think that using this method is usefull to determin what the market demand is. i think u should think of the quality that u want to provide and then take care of the pricing issue.

Why do you want to start a clothing company if you don't know who you want to sell to, don't want to personally design the clothes, don't know anything about the industry, don't know what materials to use, ect.?

Why did you settle on clothing?

This sounds extremely unfocused. Why not get into an industry you know more about?

It's difficult because everyone likes to give the best quality possible, but the question is that we have market to high end quality clothes.
