    Cleaning Business.....HELP ME!

Alright guys, I want to start my own cleaning business, but I have some questions. My business will be cleaning residental and small business offices. My first question is, do you have to be insured? Also, what is the best way to find out what to charge and clean? Anyone have some good marketing ideas besides the newspaper? I already have 5 or 6 people emailing me, wanting to start cleaning in my biz. Please help me get it off the ground guys. Thanks!

I've helped a friend do this on the side. Getting insured isnt necessary but it could help with credibility (actually, im not positive if you don't need insurance)

The best way to find is jut calling all the competitors in the phone book. Make a little excel sheet and price yourself accordingly.

If a something comes up missing and you get sued you will want to have some insurance. An nice umbrella policy is the way to go. I agree with tekmoney on how to find out what to charge, but you can also do some creative things like honor competitors coupons.
