Just wanted to know if any of you young entrepreneurs have had any success starting your own cleaning business.

A friend of mine has suggested we start this business because of its low start up cos but I would like to know more information from someone who has actually started this business.

What was your initial start up cost?
Which part of the market do you target...buildings, apartments, residential homes etc?
What cleaning products would we need to start?
Would we need any kind of license (business will be in NY)?

Any other information would be greatly appreciated.
