    classifieds site help

I am wondering if anyone has run or knows someone who has run a successful classifieds site. I found a really good script, and a few people locally to help market the site.

I am interested in knowing how much time it really takes to run a successful classifieds site. It all seems pretty turn-key exspecially with the script I have.

Can these turn into cash cows? and what would it take?

I have already been to hotscripts, the free ones just don't offer the benefits of a commercial version.

$99 start-up cost doesn't bother me in the slightest. I also get support and updates for that price. I have been researching this for a couple weeks now....this post is just a step in that research. I am trying to find out how time consuming this will be....and any advice from an "old pro"

Thx for the idea though james, I appreciate all help.

good idea...thx! I am going to contact a bunch of classifieds owners. Dood how did I not think of that...dammit I am mad at myself now for atleast 30 seconds.

hey I have the test site of my classifieds up now please check it out. It's still kinda buggy...because this is a free version I am using to test the waters with.

If you get error messages then try the reset button or the back button and go right back to what you were trying.

I kno, I kno.... its ghetto right now but its my first day with it.
