Hey Guys,
About a week ago, me, Soccer-boy (Fraz), and JRayers (James) all from this forum had an idea to start a golf forum. Within 1 week we've managed to turn around all our ideas and make the forum. Its been a huge team effort and in the end we've churned out:

The kick-ass template was custom made by James, I did the hosting came up with the domain and am doing the admin, and Fraz is working on promotions, writing articles to boost the forum.

So please tell me what you think of the forum, and get registering! I think this could turn out to be one hell of a forum compared to the other ones around which have really poor and uninviting templates.

Thanks to YE.com for making this happen! It just goes to show that you can build friendships through this place, and besides the spammers and general noobs, its quite a good place!

Lex - Why don't you like the name ? I thought it epitomised the site quite nicely!
Rohail - finding regular posters is very very very hard! If anyone plays a bit of golf or follows it, then ChipandChat.com is for you. Even if yours is the only thread, I'll reply, my partner will reply so you will get a response! (that was my little plug for you to register)

Nice domain name I like your header and the way the template has been created to make the forum look like a proper golf one if you catch my drift lol. Im just hoping that more golfers are gonna be wanting to be on the forums than on the course

About the money, we've all agreed to have Adsense on the site. At the moment there are a little too few members to put the Adsense on there, but when I get time I will put on a few text links.

Does anyone have any expertise with putting Adsense successfully on forums (like in the right place, blended ads?)?

Haha actually you're quite right Daniel. Lately I have been caught up in a whirlwind of happy happiness. It happens a bit on my blog, someone says great post - I say thanks a lot and rant on a bit, and the conversation never gets to anything worthwhile.

So if anyone actually has any critiques, reviews, or suggestions, I will openly accept negative critiques as well, as it is those we should be looking at improving.
