Looks pretty cool, nice site, logo reminds me of something else... from my childhood Hope they dont mind

Do you develop the apps yourself or resell for others?

Also, Im trying to decide if that is a turnkey site or a template... looks good anyways

Edit: I also sent you a message through your site, get back to me

I'd start sticking some cash away to pay for your attorney's fees. If Toys R Us were to ever become aware of your site, I'd pretty much guarantee a cease & desist letter would be in the mail within a few days. There isn't much they could do about you using Apps R Us because you are not in the retail toy market, but using that similar of a logo gives them all they need. I can certainly use the name Koogle for a new pair of sunglasses I'm making (hypothetically), but if the logo looks a bit like the Google logo with a K instead of a G, they'd be all over me in a heartbeat.

Moral: Be smart. Develop a nice logo that won't cause yourself trouble unnecessarily. People will be coming to your site regardless of whether your current logo remains or not.

Good looking site, but I agree, the logo might become problematic. Even if you are legally safe, consider the cost of fighting over the issue.

Agree with 2Gould and Jon...even if it will withstand a ruling in court, why bother with the time and hassle of trying to prove why you are in the right and legal.

There are plenty of people on here that would have the connections or skills to help you with a unique logo.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! To answer some questions:

It's a turnkey app site, although each app comes with a "template" so to speak of images. If you have any image editing skills whatsoever, it's quite simple to create new images to fit the "theme" of the app modifying the questions or gifts or whatever creates.

I've coded about 75% of the apps that will eventually be listed. The others have been created by friends and partners.

As far as the logo goes, yes I have forseen problems with the current logo. I remember hearing about Toys R Us going after a company for doing something similar not too long ago . But for now, it stands, I like it. I have a designer working on a new logo though so expect to see one soon.
