Changing from Sole Trader to Ltd Co.

Hi. I have a sole trader business turning over GBP100k with profit of GBP80k.

I want to create a Ltd Company and bring more people into the business.

I have a partner that can offer skills in marketing/management but has no skills in the business itself or capital to invest. They would initally work for free but would be looking for a salary soon and want 50% of the business.

What percentage of the company shares could/should I issue to them? I am concerned about protecting my existing customer base which I have built up over a number of years.

Thanks, T.
