Does any body else on this forum think that Celebrity Apprentice with Donald Trump is a good reality tv show to watch for young entrepreneurs?

I think the problems the two different teams encounter in terms of leadership, organization, creative ideas, and other small things involved when trying to complete a project are depicted well in the two hours of the show.

It's a pretty good show except it is too restrictive with regards to creativity. Correct me if I have missed an episode that contains this idea, but I think it would be better if the contestants could come up with any idea in any market to achieve a target profit. That way the first thing they would have to do is sort out all kinds of ideas. Could be interesting to watch.

Great question. We actually posted a blog article on this just a little while back. Check it out here. For my money, there are probably some other more productive ways to spend your time and learn about business, but if you're looking for a good mix of business lessons and entertainment, it's not a bad choice.

Great point, but it is a good watch with some good lessons!

The show is good and tends to illustrate the real issues that teams encounter when they just start working with each other. The dynamics of the contestants is great too because you get to see a wide range of skills and behaviors.

I am not sure if this is just me or the rest of you also feel this way, but when I hear the word "celebrity" I tend to give it a negative connotation. I don't understand what part of celebrities is actually reality, it is all about fantasy in that business. I used to watch Apprentice religiously for about 2 or 3 years, but once celebrities came on I haven't watched a single episode. One of the best shows for young entrepreneurs in my opinion was Shark Tank. I think season 2 was confirmed!! I have also heard that UnderCover Boss is great, but I have only been able to catch two of the episodes.
