    CD Duplication Business?

I have been considering starting a local Cd Duplication business then expanding after a while, But i have had a problem making some decisions so i need a little help. First should i send the cd's in sealable paper sleeves and charge extra for Jewel Cases, or just stick with jewel cases? Second, should i print on cd by defualt or charge extra for that? These decisions can charge me more depending on what i pick but what is your opinion?

what do you mean by CD duplication business. Copy a software and sell it to others? That is illegal.

I'll give you a tip when it comes to cd duplication business. It's advisable to send the CD's in sealable paper sleeves. Jewel cases are optional since not all buyers want it. Also, offer cd printing by default, most companies do that. People hate extra charges.

I agree that it is advisable to send the C's in sealable paper sleeves. Stick to a system that will work for a majority of your customers for a while, then once you are on your feet you can start expanding. If you are looking for a reference of a company that has succeeded in dvd duplication, check out WTS, they have mastered dvd and]cd dvd duplication services. Good luck on your journey!

You should do whatever will save you the most money...buying jewel cases would cost a lot of money, but if you are sure you will make the money back I would go for Jewel cases, and its more professional.

You may be disappointed to find out that the industry of CD duplication or CD replication is actually shrinking because more people are streaming digital contents. I used to be in the industry but found I couldn't compete with companies such as Discmakers and New Cyberian, and especially New Cyberian can offer very high quality products and fraction of my cost.

Paper sleeves and jewel cases are not the only options in the CD duplication industry. The most popular ones are digipaks, cardboard sleeves, disc wallets, and clam shells. If I were you I don't stock them but buy wholesale from the professional companies such as the above mentioned. That was how I did but I ended up have to quite because the trend is going downward.
