"Cash-back" site.

I'm thinking about launching a "cash-back" site in a market with almost no competition. As a matter of fact, there is no competition at the moment, but there will be in 4 months. I want to launch this site before the competitors, to become the market leader. Having an idea is one thing, having a marketing plan to launch it successfully is a totally different thing.

Of course, Gaulkin. But as a marketing student I believe I am fully qualified. Secondly, you will never know if a marketing plan is successful or not, if you do not try.

Where is your funding going to come from? How are you going to reach out to people if they don't know what your talking about? Since you are creating the market you will have to be very careful about how you approach this. If you give them the wrong impression you will lose them forever.

Typically, it's setup with affiliate programs. Let's say you're the Webmaster - you join affiliate programs and promote items on your Website. When someone buys, you give them a cut of your affiliate commission as cash back.
