I have heard it can be done if you can find a supplier of the mechanism, I think its called a "comparator", for the Carribbean currency. That may be a challenge in itself, might even have to be custom made.

Wow this is interesting. Please keep us updated if you figure out how to modify a vending machine to an uncommon currency.

Have you seen any vending machines in your town or area that accept Caribbean money? Maybe give the owner a call if you can find one. Also how prevalent are US dollars over there. What type of locations do you plan to put the vending machines in?

it seems that the only place to find vending machines in my country is in a hospital or school, and its always the same outdated model from ages ago- yea they work with our money but i dont want those. i would be the first vending business here,( to establish a rout ect) if i could get those later us models to work with our money.

us dollars are only used at tourist spots which are few and far between, and as for location i plan on just putting them at suitable spots, i can look at a vending business plan and stuff cuz there are no competitors, the only thing now is to figure out how to convert the machines, if you or anyone can provide info or ideas pls do

Is gambling legal there? If so, you should check out the 8 liner machines. It's not legal here but I have a buddy that made a boat load of cash from doing them illegally. I think he finally stopped now because they kept busting him. lol

As for vending.... just realize that it is no cake walk. You can make a ton of money but getting it started will take a lot of hard work.

well i'm just taking in knowledge at this point,i'm just juggling ideas now but i' sure there's a way to do it. if all else fails maybe i can convince a factory to custom build some for me, this would have to be a very large order tho.

Those things are easy to install. I think it's just a matter of a few screws and a few wires.

I'd say the hardest thing at first will be getting them in to businesses. And remember... once you do 1 machine and they see it... your competition will start doing it too. So you gotta be set up to take over the world.... so to speak.
