    Hi,
    I have just started an online business and I want to promote by business on popular sites on the net but I don’t have any idea how it should be done. Do you guys have any idea that can help me out?

    Well, if you look directly above this thread's first post, you'll see a link that says, "Your Ad Here." I believe you have to pay in order to place your ad, but it will certainly be worth it, seeing as though YE is a very popular site.

    Yes, as Jay says. For exposure you need to advertise.
    Only advertise on the sites you are sure about that they are your targetgroup.

    But offcourse there is always a way to use all kind of forms of webmarketing and SEO techniques.
    If you check some sections in this site, it will surely help you on the way. It helped me too.

    Yes, like everyone else has said, you have to advertise. You can do this by buying advertising directly from the site or by using a PPC program. I recommend the former.

    Yeah! It’s very good thought to promote your business through popular sites. You can give banner ads to the popular sites that allow for it. I can suggest you a site called pastjob . It has good traffic and potential TV coverage. Hope this will help in your business development process.
