Can a Private Membership Club, Pay its members just because...

Lets say theres a private membership club. It charges a set fee to join, and you get information blah blah etc... whatever the serivce would be.

Can that "club" pay its members just because it wants to? Maybe they want to reward the members for being members or maybe its a promotional thing. But as its a "private" club, theres no real legal action that can be taken right? I mean the people have paid for membership. Theres' no investments or no loans, nothing that can warrent any "interest" or "comission" or "divididend"....

So i cant find any legal category it would fall in, for the club to just pay its member because....

    Any thoughts?

I think the more pressing question is what are you trying to accomplish, create a revenue stream but then get the money back to the members? I don't think, although I'm no expert, there's any reason you can't do that, other than it looks like something dicey is going on.
