Hi, I am trying to get into the computer service business. I want to provide custom made computers for people and businesses. Currently been looking for server parts. I found cheap deals in china and paid them but didn't get the product. So I fell for a scam from a real legit business. I asked for the business information certificates and I also compared them to ones I found in Chinese government database. So it's a legit company it's just that they won't send the product and I know they do have it. They would only give it to you if you went to china yourself and done business face to face.

I also have a Indian friend. His uncle owns a bestbuy and he told me that he can give me the price he pays which is direct from distributor at their discount. He buys in bulk. This guy also told me that in india the computer parts are cheaper too. He suggested for me to look for suppliers in india. Yet I have in the past while looking for china. I also found indian companies online that sell the parts at the same retail price as in the U.S so it be more expensive because of shipping.

The thing is that I can't start a business selling stuff higher then retail price. People would rather go to a place that sells the stuff at the same prices everyone is selling it at. If I was buying from retail I will look at the price and see where is the cheapest.

I would like to know if it's true that computer parts bought in china or near china is cheaper then if you would buy them in the U.S?

right now currently I need to build 3 computers 1 server and 2 workstations for myself but want to buy it at some sort of discount.
