Alright I will let you have that one.

My memory isn't what it used to be...hang on yes it is...didn't you resign as an admin about two or three months ago karen, as a result of all the spamming and lack of owner appearances? What exactly went on there?

I have never been an admin on this site, only a mod. Adam has since given me some admin abilities, but nothing more.
My apologies, but you are a clever girl, try replacing the word admin with mod in my question and then try answering it.

It seems the only questions you are answering are the ones you are asking me. 'Why is this so personal to you?' As you just said...I enjoy the forum, I contribute and I am offering suggestions...I really can't improve upon the answer you already provided.

I've got one... It'd be interesting to see - as the community grows - where the representation is. A simple 'pin in map' graphic has got to be easy to come up with (ask one of the many 'buy the map' folks!)... update it quaterly/monthly ... or automate it during new member sign-up!

I'm amazed/thrilled to be a new member of such a diverse community of eager business folk. The EU, Africa, America, Australia, Canadia ... but I only started to grasp it's breadth when reading deep into the archival history of the forum.

Adding a 'member map' is the type of 'step-improvement' that could/would show *some* recognition to the current/more active, helpful members --- the ever-growing audience they're impacting/interacting with. A pseudo-source of pride - if you will?

Just a new guy's 2 cents.

Gee you guys are picky, aren't you!

You are all great members of this forum, your offer great advice and helpful suggestions to everyone.

I, for one, am glad you are a part of this forum.

As for why I resigned, that was between Adam and I. Yep, side-stepping this one.

Adam and I had a long chat on the phone and things are well.

Ok, I am sorry to bump this tread... but I feel the need to vent.

The advice given is to offer suggestions. We have offered suggestions, in many posts. I have just heard promises that "we are working on it." But I may just be blind, and havent seen what is being worked on.

A while ago I saw the need for some moderators, I PMed two admins saying I would be more than happy to help out as much as I could as SPAM can bring the quality of a forum down. Though it looks like this has been taken control of, I never recieved a reply to the PMs I figured it wasnt an issue to them.

I have posted a few questions in the YE lounge that I am sure a an admin, or probably a moderator could answer, no response.

I have pointed out a bug... in the bug tracking. granted it isnt a large problem, or even something that prevents the forums from working smoothly but again no response.

I took a bit of time to see the post contribution from the Admins, this is what I found.

Hey Jeff,
I just wanted to point out that you have a .com after the .net in your website signature link.

Jimmiejo, saving the world one technical and grammatical correction at a time.

Hmmm sure you didn't...I would be surprised if you asked that question as an excuse to knock your post count up a couple more times
