I also think making a trip there is the best way to know whether it's proper for living there. And I think living in the tourist places isn't the advisable choice, such as Barcelona and Tenerife. This is only my personal opinion. And take it easy and you will find the proper place to live in.

I have been searching for the property in Spain for a long time and I want to move to there for living and working. I have been to Spain quite a few times on travel and I find it is the worthy visiting country in the world. But I don't which area of it is the most suitable place to live. I have only found some related sites, spanish property and property in spain . I don't think living in the tourist place is the advisable choice. I wonder if you could give me some other suggestion or recommendation. Any help would be much appreciated!

I don't want to invest real estate in my own area and I want to buy property in Spain. Could my thought go on? I haven't ever made such investment and I have no idea about the property marketing in Spain. What should I do if I want to do this? Clearly, what would affect your decision would be first, your kind of work (whether if it could allow you to settle in the countryside or near the city) and of course, your climate and neighborhood preferences.

I would suggest living there for a while by renting a modest place, brush off that "tourist perspective" in about three to four months. By then you would have the idea ss to where you could best settle in.
