    Business Question-Expense Reduction

    Hello Members,

    I was wondering if you could do me a favor. I have a business question for you that will help me further understand small business owners expense reduction needs. Suppose you were an entrepreneur who spent $10,000 in annual legal fees per year.     Just an off the cuff response I think of immediately is the issue of priority and exclusiveness should the "crap hit the fan."

    If you are spending the $10k with a trusted private attorney that knows you, your history, personality, priorities, and is intimately connected to the goings on of your business, then when push comes to shove, to them you are a valued client and they will probably go to bat for you with extra dedication and sense of connection. In large networks you could be just a number or file. Therefore you could think of the extra $3500 as insurance, in a way, that will ensure you a loyal and dedicated attorney that will do all he/she can to get you out of a situation in the most favorable of ways.

    Just my initial two cents.

    This could be true. But suppose you are spending 10K on a law firm which you interact with several attorneys per year. Would you have the same perception?

    In large networks you could be just a number or file. Therefore you could think of the extra $3500 as insurance, in a way, that will ensure you a loyal and dedicated attorney that will do all he/she can to get you out of a situation in the most favorable of ways.

    This may be true. This is why if I were a small business owner I would test the service for 30 days to determine the quality. If your theory is true, he or she should cancel the service and demand a full refund.
