Two questions here:

How am I meant to project my income if I'm gaining all my money from advertising? I'm planning to use adsense and then sell advertising space.
How do I know how much I'll make?!

Also,
I'm only 17 and I require funding for my website. How can I do this?

IDK about adsense. Do they break it down into how you'll get paid?

If they say we pay .05 for ever 1000 unique viewers, then y ou estimate the number of unique views you'll have in a month and figure it out. See if you can find what other sites similar to yours are charging or making.

At 17 your options are pretty much family or family friends. If you are selling a service consider kickstarter. There are grants and things like that out there for high school and college, but i wondered if the amount is worth the work.

I think it totally varies for them. I'm not sure entirely how it works!

Haha, i'm sure it does, but you better learn how it works before you start spending money in it! Sorry i can't be more help than that, idk much about online advertising.
