Business plan

Hi

After researching over the last 3 months, I am ready to construct a business plan. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good website which displays innovative business plan examples? I want to make mine stand out obviously, and by looking at other business plans, i will be able to get a better grasp of whats effective.

Grateful for suggestions

Take care everyone

If you have CorelSuite 8, they have an excellent template that comes with it. Or you could try BDC , or maybe try Royal Bank . Good luck!

Hi businesslike04,

This may be irrelevant to you and your kind of business, so please disregard if this does not apply. But, I have talked to some people about financing and what they like in a business plan. The answer seems to be the same across the board. Simple. I too wanted to be innovative and creative with the plan. But, I was given the advice from a few differant sources to keep it uniform. If you use a PC, Microsoft word has a very simple, clean yet detailed template with instructions on each section. I had to be reminded that the plan is not only for me. It is for banks, investors, employees etc. They read plans all day long, so uniform is good. They don't need to impressed with the style. They need the content, they need the plan.

My 2 Cents,

Bjorn

You could get Business Plan Premiere 2005 like me which has over 200 business plans and the business plan maker. I don't know how investors would like that route though. It does like graphing and stuff for you though which is pretty cool. I don't know of any good websites for business plans though.

Interactive business planner. Simply follow the template and create your business plan. The plan may be saved, so that you can return to it at a later time. The template gives examples and suggestions throughout to assist you with what type of things you should say in each section.

The only thing I don't know, is how well received it would be since I have never used it to attempt to obtain funding. But it goes pretty much in line with how business plans should be done.

Hope it helps.

Karen
