Business launch ideas please

Hi all,

I'm at that stage of the business where I have to launch the business and start it off with a bang. Here is a short background on the business idea, I would appreciate it if you guys can give me some ideas on how I should do the launch.

The shop caters for the niche market of high-end, high-performance aftermarket bike parts for off road motorcycles.

I was thinking of getting a well known pro enduro rider to be at the opening, have a bike trip and end it off at the shop where we display all our products and have a BBQ for the customers, creating that family atmosphere.

If you guys have any ideas please post, any idea is a good one.

Hi Hugo,

It sounds like you have reasonably sized budget. What about filming a mini movie of sorts showcasing what the parts can do when in action. Then you could do a launch film screening premiere at the shop with maybe some raffle prizes, food/drink, your movie and possibly another short more famous movie already out on off road motorcycles (or maybe edit a montage of you tube videos or something). This way you keep everyone at the shop the entire time, you create a cool advertisement/product you could use later on for marketing and you do not run the risk of someone getting hurt on you "sponsored ride". If done well enough you may even be able to get a few companies to donate/pay for the giveaways in exchange for the advertising.
