Employment within luxury/prestigious fashion brands. (Gucci, Louis Voiuton, Prada, etc)
really, if you're young and have choices:
work in television, film, music, art and sport
even if it pays less, but these jobs are fun
you simply can't comprehend the drudgery of internet, software, real estate, banking, accounting, law and pretty much all other jobs

Yeah I like real estate also. I myself have a passion for marketing and so I think that owning my own marketing firm and landing a job with a huge client would be awesome!
Whatever you do and whatever path you take, make sure you take a long hard look and be sure that you will enjoy whatever you end up doing.
From my personal experience, I took the easy way out. Got out of college and pretty much started my accounting career because jobs were easy to find and the money was good. 6 years later and I finally become a manager, I'm making even more money with a great future in a Fortune 500 company and you know what. I hate my Job. Yeah the money's good and the benefits rock, but the work bores me. There is no challenge except trying to keep my work week under 60 hrs. During month/quarter/year end closes I'm lucky to get out under 80 hrs a week.
The main reason I am working so hard to get my own company going is primarily this job that I have now. If I'm working so hard for the Man I might as well become the Man. Why bust my chops and spend the best years of my life slaving away for someone else's profit when I could making my own. If I had a passion for what I did and loved truly what I do everyday, I could see myself doing this for the rest of my life and be contempt. But taking the easy way out in a career and choosing a paycheck over something I would enjoy, turned me into a Bitter Bitter old man.

Yeah I totally get what your saying Jerrsun. Everybody says that you have to have a passion for what your doing and I totally believe that. But for me, I enjoy marketing and I love doing all that kind of work so I think that I am the type for that. What company do you work for Jerrsun and what are you thinking about doing if you decide to "become the man"??
Medical Sales Representative
or
Pharmaceutical Sales Representative
or
Wholesale Sales Representative
With part time Real Estate
I love sales...
I think to big, but I also would like to run an online business with all of this.
I am getting my insurance, and real estate license. They only take a couple classes and then i plan to re sell AAA insurance or state farm, and then plan to later on make a corporation called Unify Enterprise which will be a home corporation for Unify Reality, and Unify Insurance, Unify Software ETC.
SO Thats my dream.
Sky is the limit. Just go for it.

As far as being the man, I've always had a passion for accessorizing my tech gear with carrying cases and other cool add ons. For every laptop I've owned I must have boughten 3 to 5 laptop bags/sleeves/mice/cool usb stuff. I've got cell phone and PDA carrying cases comming out of the wood work at my house. Every business trip I take I go shopping for a new carry on. So I figure if im buying so much of this stuff and enjoying the heck out it, why don't I start selling it and if things work out, in the near future I want to start designing my own brand. Thats my dream right now and hopefully one day soon I can quit my job and finally start working full time for myself.

I do Promotional Items and I love what I do. The finished product with the clients logo etc never fails to amaze me and make me feel good that I had a part in their promotional goods.
