Business is Bad from the Recession

    *sigh

Just venting. Anyone else experiencing difficulties?

The sales from my business dropped around 50%. Don't know how long more we can sustain.

When is the economy gonna bounce back up?

When sales drop, find other ways to get your product out there. The recession is all in the mind.

Business is bad for me too. Very bad. But it's still there and right now it seems people are looking for cheap deals. So create some. Now's the time to get creative about how you can deliver your product or service at a lower cost but retain some value. Yeah, some of the quality or benefits you might have to reduce. The trick is how to deliver something workable or valuable that is equitable for the time you invest in it. I've got a plan for myself, I have to now make it work.

While yes times are bad I have heard we should be well out of this recession by september.

Until then I would go out and speak at local events. Give a short 20 min speech to civic orgs and things like that they are filled with decision makers. Just make your speech filled with value!

If you are a marketer don't talk about your newest marketing plan. Talk about image. Talk about how much a bad image can cost a company and how much a good image can benefit a company.

The trick is to provide the audience with value first and then the sale will come naturally.

Hope this helps and best of luck!
