Question Business insurance for video games

Hello everyone, I just joined up after searching Google and came upon this board.
I'm going to open a PC repair shop and sell video games . 75% games - 25% pc.
the question i have is is there any Insurance company that covers Video games for Business Insurance? My local Insurance agent[State Farm] told me it's a high risk and doesn't think he'll cover it but will find out for sure for me in a few days so I'm not getting my hopes up. I searched the net but no luck. Hopefully someone here has a gaming store or knows someone who does and can help me out.
    Thank You for your help.

Maybe you can try contacting this guy http://www.stevepavlina.com

He is an entrepreneur who was in the gaming industry for a while.

Why on earth would video games be a particularly high-risk class of insurance?

Seems like any other inventory to me.....

I mean, if you were selling 10 carat diamonds, that'd be one thing...but games?

It's got to be the same way that any other business insures their inventory.

We sell computers, computer hardware, and games at work and our business insurance was CHEAP and very easy to get.

    Weird you can't get it.

Yeah, something doesn't add up here.

Games are LESS susceptible to shoplifting than most other inventory because you just display empty cases and then have the shxt locked up in a cabinet.

Whoever told you that it's "high risk" doesn't know wtf they're talking about, talk to someone else.

I went to my State Farm agent and he told me Video games are a high risk becuase of the high theft rate. I live in PA.
I'm no insurance agent but all i can figure it may be certain states are more high risk than others.
I contacted another person from another board who recently opened a gaming store and he uses travelers insurance, lucky for me there's 3 travelers insurance agents in town. I hope they give me it.
I'll check your link out Bored to also.
Thanks for your help guys and gals.
