Business dress advice please?

What is suitable business dress for a young women under 30? I need to know for the various situations:

(BTW: It is a software development company)

Casual, going into work
Meeting a company
Directors meeting
Staff meeting
Pitching

Thanks for any help, can you suggest what type of clothes should be worn (jeans, jacket etc)

Suits should be good.
Maybe on a day to day basis just a smart-ish top which suit trousers is okay. But for all the others i suggest a suit (female) of course.

The best advice I can give you is to 'dress to impress'. The biggest problem is not (as most people fear) being over-dressed, but rather being under-dressed. You want your wear to match (or be a step above) that of the person or people you are with.

If this is a new job you are taking on, my advice is to dress as best as you can on the first day of work (and, if you have not conducted it already, the interview). Once you have started the position and have discovered how other workers are dressing, then you can change your dress to match their style. Quite probably, the code is casual dress, but again - when you're not sure, dress very nicely. It can't hurt.
