umm yeah i just get my suits off the rack wherever i can get a good deal...
i used to read english cut: bespoke savile row tailors (btw, awesome blog about suits) and the advice was that brands aren't important
really, the important thing is fit and accessories
i always get my suits properly altered and spend more than the average on shirts, ties, watches, rings, cuffs and shoes...these things really make the suit
there's nothing more laughable than seeing someone draped in an ill fitting armani with shoes from kmart

so yeah..that's what i think
