    Bulk Candy Vending

Im thinking of starting a bulk candy vending business for some semi passive income. Im going to use three head vending machines and a locator to find me locations. Anyone have any experience with this type of business?

FYI - There is an old time candy website that sells in bulk. I hear so many people talking about the candy they ate as a kid ie, squirrel nut zippers etc. You should check it out and incorporate new and old!
(the do or at least they did, sell in bulk)
    Just a suggestion.
    Good luck!

I have experience with a different kind of machine---ATM's. The only reason I mention this, is because both have one very important thing in common; they both rely on good locations, with heavy foot traffic to be successful.

Just out of curiosity, what is the average cost of a vending machine, and do you need to get permits, etc. for them?

$130 shipped on ebay, $50 for bulk candy and $50 for a locator to get you a nice location. Each machine should make you $10 dollars in profit a month. If you want to make the big bucks you have to have 1000 or more locations. No permits are required, all you need is an entity, insurance and vending license from your county or counties in which you will vend out of.

Go on craigslist and look around, you can buy used ones cheap. And I would save 50 bucks and locate them myself.
