    Building your brand

What are some things you did/do to build your brand?

I recently started an outdoor online community and am really working on building the Outdoor Freaks brand. I'd love any input or help!

    Thanks, have a good day.

When building brand equity online, the quickest way to do that is to pump out good quality content and join the conversation in your niche. Visit other blogs or forums in your niche and provide worth while valid comments. DO NOT SPAM, just have your website linked back in your name.

Brand Equity is earned, and the quickest way to gain street cred is by proving you know your stuff.

UUrayan gives smart advice. It's also important that you have a simple, consistent brand image. You should be able to sum up what Outdoor Freaks is all about in one brief, compelling sentence that motivates your target to visit. Then make sure the experience at the site lives up to it. Good luck!

I agree--getting involved in your industry is a great way to beef up your image and thus, your brand.
