I myself am a blogger ,but i just started my blogging about 3 weeks ago.My cousin is looking to start a blog herself but she wants to know what kind of return would she get on her investment. She also wanted to know how much would she have to invest in order to make at the least $1000 a month from her blog.Please let me know

It all depends on her niche and also on how well she builds traffic and then monetises it. These is definitely the potential to make $1,000+ form a blog. But dont expect to be doing it in the first 6months...

I'll have to agree with rich... it's not an overnight process but if you're dedicated, write quality content, and have a passion for your topic - you'll be able to succeed.

at $5 CPM you need 200,000 hits, if you are trying to generate money from advertising. This can be done in a month, "IF" you have steady promotion, you have to start promoting before the blog starts, so it can get people hype then traffic will start coming and you keep puting QUALITY content, they tell their friends and the story goes on........
