    Best way to advertise online?

I posted the link earlier for feedback on https://www.KielJamesPatrick.com but no one seemed interested, so now I am looking for advice on the best way to market, and the most efficient means of advertising online, specifically for a high end fashion product, anyone have any ideas or personal experience?

With a few exceptions, general advertising (advertising to the masses) is extremely inefficient. Especially with startups and/or companies with very defined target audiences, the best way to market is by finding the most efficient way to get to the specific target market. However, this also depends on the ability to effectively define one's market.

I believe jmeng was implying that you need to develop an association with a niche market to first promote your products to. If you develop an association (strongly psychological) with a niche demographic, say Block Island/ Cape Cod prep school beach bums, you'll build a foundation for your company's image that can be developed further once word of mouth begins to circulate. I have no idea what demo you're shooting for, but I'm from a similar area, and if I was you I'd start posting and working with some local artists/performers and try to develop a relationship with a music community. I sold a couple of Trademarks for a surfwear clothing line I created by having a couple plugs from up and coming emo bands that I sent free shirts to. I used the plugs as a means of getting a major distributor to take notice and explained the association with that demographic. I like the site though, looks good. What other forms of marketing are you doing?

I just saw a very similar product on The Big Idea, last week I think. This guy is selling a bracelet like that but with a rock on it. He was selling them for like $250 a pop.

Anyways, he has some celebrities wearing them already. I'm not sure how well it would work, but Donny's advise to people who are trying to get their brand out there, is to send some to celebrities and let the magazine's publish pictures with them wearing your product. But like I said, it's not so much my advise, but just something i've heard you can do.

High fashion is all about convincing those with a lot of disposable income that your's is the MUST HAVE for the season. Evaluate, adjust, repeat. Do this every year or two, but do it often and with many different lines of products. This is kinda the shot gun effect.
Conservative opinions from someone who thinks a little differently than most.

I think you really have a product that you can do something with, but it all comes down to marketing. If you don't have the experience or knowledge, I would suggest hiring someone.

I disagree. Your marketing needs to match your brand image.
