Best State to Register an LLC ?

I live in Charlotte, North Carolina and i was talking to a buddy of mine who told me that each state has different tax laws and regulations regarding an LLC. He told me that, based on what knew, that Nevada was the best place to register an LLC. He said something to the effect that it had the cheapest income tax laws, and some other things that totally amazed me.

My question to you guys is, is this all non-sense, or is there some validity to all this? And if there is validity, what states have the most beneficial rules? I am about to register an LLC and i would like to know if there is a benefit to registering an LLC in one state as opposed to another.

Not sure what income taxes are like in other states but I know Michigan was a cheap state to register my LLC in.

$50 and 1 simple form. About a week later and I got an LLC going.

if its a simple business just register in ur state..if u become bigger then think about changing the ownership structure..if ur registered out of state, ull prob have to get a registered agent
