    best shipping options?

Hi, if you sell a product that is as small as a regular chocolate bar and weigh about the same, which shipping service would be the best choice (cheapest) if you sell about 100 of them a day?

I would think USPS would be about the cheapest, would do you think? Do they have any discount programs for businesses who ship a lot?

By the way, is it a good idea to rip your customers off on shipping? For example, it might cost 50 cents to ship it but you actually charge them $1.50. But they wouldn't know. It happens all the time on Ebay.

    Thanks

I haven't heard good things about USPS. I would go with UPS.

USPS can now negotiate for discounts on shipping (by statute, they have never been able to do this). I am in negotiations with them now but their volumes are pretty high and they haven't learned to be aggressive on pricing.

Still, USPS can be the cheapest way to go. However, you have no tracking capabilities unless you pump up to a higher priced package (priority etc) which puts you in the same price band as UPS.
