I don't know what is considered cheap for you, but from my experience for reliability hostgator is the way to go. I initially had godaddy hosting, but it was very unreliable so I just moved to hostgator and never looked back. If you plan on growing your online business I strongly recommend building it on a reliable dependent host even if it costs you extra funds.

i've had godaddy and ipage. ipage is the cheapest i've seen an easier to operate that godaddy... just my opinion though. I have looked at prices for many other hosting services

Try blue host. Its the best one that I found. You can install any scripts instantly without hassle and no IT person is required.

    Thanks,

Cheap and reliable, go with Hostgator. Reliable but more expensive, try out Liquidweb, they have great customer service.
Godaddy isnt the greatest when it comes to customer service. Paying a little more will award you with better service.

IXWebhosting and BlueHost both allow hosting unlimited domains on a single account. Its great if you want to launch multiple sites.

    I like atbhost.net.

You can start out with one of their free plans or post to host plans (5gb storage, 50gb bandwidth) and then upgrade to a $5.00/month unlimited plan if you need the extra space. I've used them for a while now, very reliable and good technical support. That way you can start small on a free plan and if your site starts expanding fast you can quickly convert over to the paid plan. I am on a free plan still and my site is getting over 2k uniques per day.

becareful with the so called 'unlimited' hosting

I have had bad experience with a few 'unlimited' hosting plans. They say unlimited but they are not exactly that. Then I landed with Hostgator. They are the best so far with the 'unlimited' plan.

    Good luck.

I use Godaddy but I don't recommend them. In the past 4 months my site has been hacked 3 times. Last time was on Halloween. The "Godaddy Halloween Attack", it's getting ridiculous.

Did you know that for your website to be accessible by your visitors on the Internet, you need to host it with a webhost company that has web servers connected to the internet. Some of the web hosting companies that are recommended are iPage, JustHost, HostGator, HostClear,BlueHost among others

I highly recommend Webfaction. I've been with them for years, and am quite satisfied. I host 40 or so Wordpress-based sites on my account for $9.50 / month - you just can't beat that. They have a custom admin panel that will let you quickly and easily set up a site once you understand it. I can buy a domain, install Wordpress, and have everything up and be editing content in 10-15 minutes.

Other reputable companies include Hostgator, Bluehost, and Rackspace.
