Best Alternatives to Paypal to use on website?

Too many horror stories about paypal, and too many bad experiences. So I need to find someone else. Could you please tell me any other sites like paypal where I can accept credit card payments on my website without needing a merchant account? Please dont just list random sites which you know nothing about, at least know something about them or have some experience in using them.

2checkout.com , a good site that I use myself. Maybe their customer support is a bit of a slow ( took 5 days to activate my site

), but they're good all in all.

2checkout - lack of international support/options
nochex - only available internationally if monthly sales are 1000 GPB
google checkout - america only
worldpay - fees way to expensive

so unfortunatey none of them are any good
