Become rich after stretch in Prison

My mate Honest dave went to prison and after 6 months of being released was rich, I can think of quiet a few examples of people who go to prison and become rich....

has anyone else been to prison then got rich¿

The only post-prison success stories I know of are those where inmates get out and act as fronts for members of the mob still inside. These people 'miraculously' get rich, but don't actually have any money that is their own. They act as a front for their boss on the inside, and quickly become expendable after the boss gets out.

Other than that, I wouldn't begin to guess what kind of networking connections being in the right facility would help you develop. Then again, using LinkedIn and online networking forums can't get you shanked '-)

Well I've heard of people who would go to prison for a stupid crime, and think "what am I doing here?" and spend the rest of their sentence deciding what to do when they come out, and how to live a better life, and then they come out, their idea succeeds, and they make it big.

Well i thought i would try the unothodox approach, you guys are all bleating about the same ideas...

I reckon networking with fellow inmates, the connections and the solace from nagging wife might just do me good....

Well, it will be hard if you have already got out. But assume one goes to prison. Making friends there will probably be 100 times tighter(the right ones as they would even do illegal things for you) than the people on the outside.

If you choose some smart crimes with a high win - low chance of getting caught, and you have 10 friends who will all do it. Knowing they will not rat you out, you will basically have a 100% chance to get rich.

(Finding these friends will be virtually impossible of course, especially with the laws in USA about prosecutor making deal with caught people)

I guess if a person has a business running on the outside, he/she can be released and return to it and reap rewards. I'm sure many guys like John Gotti are on top of this! hehe Cheers,
